Q: I can’t seem to get into 5000bc with the login/password I have right now. What am I doing wrong?
A: The 5000bc system doesn’t depend on a fixed login/password. When you registered for 5000bc, you put in a login/password of your choice. To retrieve that login/password, simply go to the Retrieve Password link (you’ll find it on the right hand corner of your screen, right below the Member’s Login Button. Or just click on this link itself.
When you click on the link, the system will ask you for:
1) Your email address
2) The answer to your security question
When you answer both the above, the system will send you the login/password to your inbox. It’s that simple. Of course, technology isn’t always perfect. If you still run into difficulties, I’m just an email away. Click on this link, if you’ve done all of the above and still can’t get your password…or horrors…have forgotten your security answer. And I’ll check your details and get back to you as soon as I possibly can.
Q: Logging in is a breeze. No problem. But when I try to access the features in the 5000bc, I don’t get any features or information. All I get is this infuriating box telling me to pay for membership. I’ve paid for membership already, you know… so why won’t this @#%^%$ thing work?
Mmmm…The reason why you’re getting a box that tells you pay is because your membership has lapsed. This is most likely due to non-payment. I said ‘most likely.’ The system is set up for recurring payments, so under normal circumstances, the system should automatically collect the payment from your credit card. However, credit cards expire. Or things can go awry with technology. If you believe that there’s an error on our part, please email me right away.
Q: I can’t seem to login to the Premium Section and The Big Kahuna Series with my regular password
A: When 5000bc was moved over to this new content management system, we aimed at one login/one password. Unfortunately, till the software is upgraded (I’m told it will happen in Feb 2005), you’ll need a specific password to get into this section. To make it easy for you, I’ll always email you the login/password when I inform you about new updates in the Big Kahuna Series. Once the software is upgraded, getting into this Big Kahuna Section will be just a click on your navigation bar.
