A special privilege for 5000 members
It all started one fine August morning…
Stew Walton, Member 5000bc, posted this statement:
Sean is always asking us to refer friends and business associates to 5000bc — if we believe 5000bc is valuable to us. To share the wealth at no cost.
I feel that if people subscribe to 5000bc without becoming members they miss the most valuable parts of the site. They may decide it is not worth the time and effort. However, one visit to Cave Chat (and 5000bc) would give them a whole new perspective, and maybe convert quite a few who otherwise drop out.
This costs all of us, because the more people who read and eventually contribute to Cave Chat, the more valuable it is for all.
How about a limited, free, read only visitation right? Maybe for 24 hours, or one log-on, or even one month?
Is it technically feasable?
Is it worthwhile?
Does anyone else share my opinion on this?
The discussion went back and forth…
And the members came to a conclusion that they’d like to bring their friends and colleagues to see what 5000bc is like. And yes, they’d like to bring their friends/colleagues in–without any cost, to sample what 5000bc is really like. And that members would find it much easier to refer a friend or a colleague, if the friend or colleague didn’t have any risk.
In other words, free access.
Yet, it was not free for all. That only members would have this privilege. And that the referral would be restricted to one a month, otherwise a swarm of new members would simply overload 5000bc. The growth needed to be selective and as organic as possible.
The final conclusion was:
1) A member would have the privilege of introducing a friend.
2) The friend would have access to all of 5000bc (Except the Premium Section)
3) This access would be for a whole month and would be free.
4) That every member, would have the privilege to introduce one person a month.
5) That we’re all responsible and honest, and there would be no monitoring of
the system–just in case you decided to refer two people a month.
6) A couple of woo-hoos, and yipeees went up too, so together with Andrew (also
Member, 5000bc) we created a system where you can introduce a friend to 5000bc.
Why it’s a win-win situation
By getting in more members, I have to do less selling, and concentrate more on giving you advice. I can create more videos, more audios and spend more time constructing content that makes your life more profitable. You on the other hand, get like-minded people and
learn more, thus creating a community that you can learn from and assist, while growing your own business.
Just send them a small message via email inviting them to be a guest. There are two examples of what you can cut and paste…or you can write your own message to your guest.
NOTE : Once your friend/colleague gets your message, they will be taken to a page where they can fill in their own login/password and other details. Their details will then be uploaded (manually) into the 5000bc database, and they will be able to access the entire site in 5000bc (except for the Premium section)
If you have problems with this form (and yes, it does happen) please email me right way and let me know and I’ll take care of it.
